Whitsand Bay Hotel

You may wish to just spend some time in their bar for drinks and snacks.
If you want to treat your self to an evening meal book a table. Casual attire is the norm, although they do ask for a reasonable standard of dress for gentlemen taking dinner.

Whitsand Bay Hotel –Ideal for Daytime Snacks (Good Value) and Evening meals ( Not Cheap)
Finnycook Crafhole – Excellent Value just at the top of the hill and walking distance.
Cawsand Bay Hotel -Best value in the area and great Sunday Lunch –best to book early 01752 822425
Windy Ridge Cafe – Best value breakfast in the UK – Just drive back to the A38 on the way to Liskard and its on the left just before the roundabout. 10 minutes drive. Worth it if you don’t want to cook or are having a late breakfast.

This is our second year of renting Rame View and we have made every effort to think of everything you may need.
However if you have any items you think may need addressing or need improving please let us know by leaving a note for Jean at the end of your stay.
We do want you to come again so this is very important that we continue to improve the properties facilities.

You can make local calls on our phone for taxis, takeaways etc. All other outgoing calls except 999 are barred. It will accept incoming calls. There is a payphone in the hotel which you can use. If you wish people to call you the number at Rame View is 01503 230199

FUTURE PLANS

The garden at the front is a fantastic sun trap and we will be looking at improving this area during winter 2005.

We will see how well the games room is used to decide what to do with the very large top room area.

LOCAL PLACES TO VISIT

No Crowds
Kingsand and Cawsand – the most fantastic unspoilt twin fishing villages overlooking Plymouth Sound.
Mount Edgcumbe – Great walks, the House and Gardens, tea rooms and views to Plymouth.

Seaton – Good pubs and quiet beaches and the famous Monkey Sanctuary

There are also fantastic coastal paths with some of the best views in England.

You can go to Plymouth via the Torpoint ferry or the foot ferry at Cremyll by the entrance to Mount Edgcumbe
